This award, created in Spring 1998, is presented by Student Association to a
teacher or administrator for outstanding service to students. The award is
named for Dr. Joe Stewart, the former Dean of Students and Vice President for
Student Affairs at UNT.

Recipient of the Honors Faculty Excellence Award, 1998. This award,
presented by the students in the University Honors Program, recognizes mastery
in the classroom, dedication to imparting knowledge, and commitment to
furthering honors education.

Recipient of the 'Fessor Graham Award at the University of North Texas, 1987.
This award, the highest honor bestowed by the student body at UNT, recognizes a
