Internship applicants must:
Be a Communication Studies major;
Be classified as a junior or a senior;
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all courses taken at UNT;
Have completed the Communication Studies department core plus at least six upper-level hours in Communication Studies at UNT;
Meet the employer’s requirements; and
Must have the consent of the Comm Studies department internship supervisor.
A maximum of three semester credit hours of internship credit may be applied to the major in Communication Studies.
Internships in Communication Studies are graded “pass” or “no pass” only.
